Working in conjunction with its twin washable filter system, our air purifier pulls in unclean air from the rear, first passing through the carbon filter which removes airborne particles as small as 0.3 microns. Left behind is fresh oxygen rich air, perfect for those suffering from allergies, asthma, and respiratory problems. The sterilizer function turns on the units blue UV-C lamp to incinerate ninety nine percent of microorganisms like bacteria, mold spores, mildew, fungi, viruses, yeast, and airborne germs as they pass through the unit. When you need to eliminate offensive odors in your home, the Purifier function creates activated oxygen (ozone) in safe and effective levels based upon the square footage of your home. Perfect for eliminating tobacco smoke, cooking odors, chemical/cleaning agent odors, paint odors, etc. The activated oxygen will also sanitize pollution embedded in walls, ceilings, floors, carpets, furniture, clothing, countertops....all surfaces in your home. Using the AWAY MODE, your unit can be set on a timer so it will operate the Purifier function at its maximum strength for a set number of hours, then shut off automatically. We got this to take the smell of smoke out of our house...Everything we tried and nothing worked..but this...At first I thought i was expensive but seeing what it can do.....its well worth it!

I purchased this air purifier about 3 weeks ago and it has made a huge difference! I took the smell of fried salmon out of my kitchen in about 30 minutes. It removed the the smell of 2 people smoking cigars in my basement in about an hour! It has a pre-filter which is also a carbon filter. The internal filter (photocatalytic)looks to be much finer and would remove smaller particles. Extra filters/Ozone plates are readily available on the website (I wanted a purifier that I could get extra filters/ozone plates in case I needed them) The real smell cleaning power comes from the Ceramic ozone plate! While I was smoking, I kept the "purifier" on level 2 with the fan on 3. Once I was done and left the room, I put the "purifier" on level 5 and fan on 5. You shouldn't be in the room with the ozone set on 5. It really pumps it out! I couldn't be happier with my purchase. And to top it all off, the company is a pleasure to deal with. instantaneous response on emails! All that being said, I do not run this purifier 24/7 like I do with my Plasmacluster or Winix. I turn this on to remove odors and it does a hell of a job!
