Living Paint Trailer
Paintings in the traditional sense are nothing more than relics or the residue of paint in its natural living state. Living Paint is a DVD capturing paint while still “alive ” so to speak . Paint as it slowly careens down its fabric surface . All the while merging with a variety of colors allowing nature to make the most beautiful and intriguing patterns. This is the process of painting in its essential pure form . We’ve captured this sensual process at very close range with high definition video. The result is one full hour of paint , gravity, sound and nature at its essence.

Thanks for the video response. Right up our alley.
this makes me hungry for some reason
maybe if i were high…
It’s too bad you all can’t see the HD original. The detail and vibrancy of the color is quite amazing.
I wish I had the money to use that much paint on my work. I always find the lack of having enough paint due to lack of money a major factor that holds me back in my work from experimenting more.
BTW I’m a newbie so forgive me for asking but is that acrylic paint used (thats what I use and I know how expensive it is)?
Anyway great video and nice work, I love the way you managed to somehow mix the colors on the fly any trade secret on how you got them to flow so nice?
Thankyou for the advice. I think I may of been using the wrong medium of Acrylics by mistake all this time for some of my work. As I always use a healthy amount of paint and it has cost me so much. I shall look into them mediums so I can truly go crazy with the paint brush on the canvas without worrying about my budget.
Thankyou again.
I should mention that the toll paints don’t have the best color retention when they dry, so you’ll definitely want to experiment with them first. They look great when they’re fresh and flowing over surfaces, though.
Good luck!
Brilliant! Not only to the lines moved your eye around but the parts move at different speeds. It’s like a Pollack painting but kicked up a notch with motion.
Yummy!
great this session in colors
that must be very much paint stuf
We used a lot of toll paints and tempera paints. Not too expensive. We just needed volume!
It’s like wawtching a multicolored lava lamp
great colours! i like this way it’s like ..my way!
hugs i’m a painter too
Whoever said watching paint dry is no fun never saw this!
There’s a real beauty to it I find hard to express in words.
